CAROLYN MENDOZA
Based in Miami, Carolyn Mendoza is the founder of HEWN, where she combines a background in Fine Art and Interior Design with more than 15 years of experience in the contract furniture industry. Throughout her career, she has partnered with architects, designers, developers, and hospitality groups to curate furniture and lighting for workplace, hospitality, multifamily, higher education, public sector, and luxury residential projects, representing leading brands including Knoll, Herman Miller, MillerKnoll, Muuto, and Design Within Reach. Inspired by living in eight cities and traveling to more than fourteen countries, Carolyn draws on architecture, art, and culture to create spaces that feel timeless, intentional, and deeply connected to the people who use them. She founded HEWN on the belief that every space tells a story, and furniture is one of the ways we bring that story to life.
